What's one thing you always keep with you in your bag?
My inhaler! LOL
I'm a chronic asthmatic and for as long as I can remember, I have always carried a pump in my bag (just incase).
From my pink sequined crossbody bag in the school playground to my tiny clutch bag on a night out in my 20's - I always have a pump on me!
What time do you usually start your day?
I aim to start working at 9am - I romanticised what my days would look like when I first went self-employed and tried different start times to find what worked best for my productivity. Clearly old habits die hard from my 9-5 days because 9am just works for me! *chefs kiss*
When life is really busy, how do you carve space to maintain peace?
I'm still trying to figure this one out if I'm completely honest. I always start my day really slowly and give myself time to enjoy my coffee, go for a walk, or journal, so that no matter how busy the day gets or how late I end up working, I have had those couple of hours in the morning to breathe. I do need to get better at this post work though!!
How do you take your coffee and how many a day?
Flat white with one sugar and I'm on a hard rule of one coffee a day and no coffee after 3pm (just because lol).
Top 3 apps
Pinterest, Sudoku & Duolingo (I've been learning French, woop woop)
What does wellness look like to you?
I paint or draw to decompress, and also go to the gym or for a long walk to clear my mind.
Where do you feel most inspired?
The places I feel most inspired include galleries, museums, museum gift shops (biggest sucker for a museum shop), book shops, and being around other creatives!
Zoom to telephone call?
Phone calls I guess - However, my preference will always be to send it in an email pleaseee!! :)
WhatsApp or iMessage?
Whatsapp
Perfect way to spend a day off?
Subject to weather...
On a cold or rainy day, I will be indoors, candle or incense lit, a chilled playlist on, OR an animated film on in the background, at my easel painting away.
On a warm day, I will be strolling around a gallery or museum with a friend, stopping off for street food or dim sum - because dim sum is life.
Thank you so much Emily!
